Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree such as MSEE is recommended/preferred.

· 6+ years C++ with multithreaded real-time software architecture and embedded systems, DIO/DAQ is essential. Must be able to demonstrate expertise in all aspects of SDLC and agile workflows.

· 6+ years Python with demonstrable expertise. Experience with popular python libraries such as Flask, Celery, Requests, SQLAlchemy, pytest, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, SciPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, Scikit-learn, is essential.

· Experience in an industrial environment is essential; computer vision experience is highly desirable.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, programming, testing, and troubleshooting a diverse range of computer equipment, graphics/GPU boards, digital I/O cards, DAQ cards, embedded controllers, industrial cameras, directed energy sensing equipment such as X-ray and laser scanners, and other sensors.

This role is suited to someone with a lot of real-world, mission-critical, on-call experience in a production environment, and skills in C++, Python, LabView, and Linux administration are required.

First Year Goals:

1. Rapid Recovery: Establish an efficient incident response protocol complete with on-call escalation procedures to mitigate system failures within the first month, aimed at minimizing downtime and expediting recovery.

2. Reliability of Sorting Platforms: Achieve 95% uptime for the clip sorting platform within the first four months, and maintain 99% uptime after the first eight months, focusing on the stability and performance of embedded systems in the production environment. Achieve 99% uptime for the twitch sorting platform within the first eight months, and maintain it onwards, ensuring robustness and reliability of embedded systems supporting the platform.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, programming, testing, and troubleshooting a diverse range of computer equipment, graphics/GPU boards, digital I/O cards, DAQ cards, embedded controllers, industrial cameras, directed energy sensing equipment such as X-ray and laser scanners, and other sensors.

This role is suited to someone with a lot of real-world, mission-critical, on-call experience in a production environment, and skills in C++, Python, LabView, and Linux administration are required.

First Year Goals:
